Once again a small concert form the music network “SONGS & WHISPERS” in Bredbeck.
First artist was Fred Raspail a french chansonnier who sounded sometimes very american with his e-guitar, but the lyrics were french all the times. For our luck he told more and more about the songs before he continued to play.
Then it became crowdy on the stage. Zen Elephant from Bristol is a band with four musicians and with guest singer they were five.
Three guitars and drums but also a banjo and a harmonica create more than simple folk songs. ‘Down the river’ became soon my earworm after I discovered this song on their website.
As a photog I struggled with the ugly shadows created by the microphones and the low standing lights.
